Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust Safety team is on the front lines of enhancing the Prime Video experience and protecting customer experience in our ever-evolving digital world.
As a Group Manager, you are responsible for leading a team of Team Managers and Senior Associates, while collaborating with policy, program, engineering, legal, and other teams to prevent violating content from appearing on the Prime Video platform.
Your team of associates will evaluate abuse trends and quality, and develop workflows and processes that maintain our quality/community guidelines.
Your teams will review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities.Key job responsibilities:Leading a team of Team Managers and Trust Safety Senior Associates.Collaborate with Policy, Program, Engineering, Legal, and other teams to prevent violating content from appearing on Prime Video.Oversee the audit of human and ML review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities.Use verbal and written communication to clearly explain issues and the paths to resolution quickly and succinctly to the catalog associates.To eliminate any doubt, this role involves reading, viewing, listening to, and examining content to ensure it complies with guidelines.
This of course means sometimes you will be viewing content that we ultimately determine to be non-compliant and this content could include challenging or upsetting scenes.
We advise you consider this when applying for this role.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in managing people managers and associates.Experience with Microsoft Office products applications.Proficiency in English.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in organization-wide initiatives that deliver direct business impact globally.Experience in managing large teams (50+).Experience in Trust Safety, content moderation/rating, data labeling, or other compliance functions.Proficiency in French, German, Italian, or Dutch.Previous experience in data analysis.Experience working with global teams.Experience identifying abuse trends or working in news or policy with passion for international issues, including freedom of expression, online controversial content, misinformation, etc.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
