.Role Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Group FP&A Analyst to join our Group finance team. The Group FP&A Analyst will play a key role in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Forecasting:Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long-term financial planningBuilding budget and forecast templates for the businesses to completeAnalysing and challenging the financial and management information received from the businessesGain a full understanding of the FP&A reporting system and how it is configuredFinancial Analysis:Reviewing and analysing financial data relating to business initiatives, eg analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaignsReviewing the monthly management accounts and preparing analysis to explain variances of Actuals vs Forecast / Budget / Prior YearTrend analysis to understand the seasonality of the businessBuilding financial models as required, eg for "what if" scenariosReporting:Assisting with the preparation of Leadership Team and Board Meeting presentations, including the monthly reporting pack, the annual budget presentation, forecast updates and other ad hoc presentationsAssist with the further development and maintenance of KPI dashboardsBusiness Partnering:Support and challenge the businesses in the Group, eg by reviewing their forecast submissions and monthly financialsCollaborate with various departments to gather management reporting information and ensure accountability, eg the reporting of non-financial KPIsProvide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic goalsProcess Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A functionFurther automate the FP&A tasks to reduce manual workload and allow further analysis timeAd Hoc:Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and presentations as required by managementExperience & Attributes:3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, management accounting, or a related financial roleExperience of working with Excel & PowerPoint at an advanced level and comfortable with manipulating complex dataExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and conciselyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills: the ability to work as part of a team and communicate with non-finance departmentsHighly motivated, results-oriented and proactiveStrong attention to detail and highly organisedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDriven with the desire to build a commercial career in financeHow you do it – Expectations for fulfilling your role:As a general rule at KingMakers we want people to be:Customer Focus: We keep the customer at the center of everything we do
