Are you a motivated leader with a passion for engineering and innovation in the photovoltaic industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Engineering Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Group Head of Engineering, you will lead a multidisciplinary team that provides essential services across the entire company. Your main objective will be to oversee and optimize the design of assets from development through to construction and interconnection. 
This position is based in Madrid, actively participating in the operations of our newly formed Engineering HUB in the city.
Key Responsibilities:Timely Execution: Ensure the Engineering team completes activities on time and with high quality to achieve key milestones.Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to create and enhance processes and methodologies for both internal and external tasks.Technical Oversight: Oversee the preparation and approval of specifications, technical inputs, and yield calculations.Innovation and Technology: Drive continuous improvement of asset quality through innovation and the adoption of leading technologies.Team Development: Hire and mentor engineers to expand the company's knowledge in relevant disciplines and ensure the transfer of individual knowledge.KPIs and Training: Establish individual KPIs and training programs for team members.Department Priorities: Set priorities for the Engineering department.Profitability: Identify and implement ways to improve profitability.Best Practices: Introduce and promote engineering methods based on best practices and innovative technologies.Stakeholder Cooperation: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Culture and Reporting: Foster a culture of transparency and cooperation and maintain an effective reporting system.Our Requirements:Educational Background: Engineering degree (Civil, Electrical, Electromechanical, etc.) with professional registration in a recognized institution (e.g., PEng, CEng, "Colegio de Ingenieros").Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the engineering business and solar energy technology.Managerial Experience: Proven managerial experience in planning, budgeting, personnel management, operations and maintenance, monitoring, and health and safety compliance.Project Management: Strong project management skills with a focus on goal setting, teamwork, resource planning, and control.Technical Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts and interpret technical manuals.Business Development: Skills to identify and explore new business opportunities and negotiate client relationships.Language Skills: Professional communication in English; Spanish is a plus.Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel).Certifications: IPMA certification is a plus.Multicultural environment (20 nationalities in our HQ in Prague) company in a sector of renewable energy – perspective, meaningful, and growing industry.Interesting projects.Opportunity to grow.Fixed salary and annual bonus.Join us if you're ready to take on exciting challenges and contribute to the future of sustainable energy!
