For our Global Hub, we are looking for a COGS and Inventories Analyst that will be responsible for Global Production Costs Reporting, giving support to Bayer Business Divisions (Pharma, Consumer Health and Crop Science) and providing Group Inventories consolidated data.
You will be responsible for: Validating Group Bayer COGS and Inventory Valuation calculation processes, including Intercompany Profit eliminations (Global Inventory value: ±9 bn€).
Ensuring COGS split validation (verification of Target and Actual values) to support Bayer Divisions on product cost related decisions.
Performing detailed analysis on Consolidated Production Costs and its evolution for Budget, Forecasts and Actual models.
Collecting production volumes data and subsequent CoGM deviation analysis.
Implementing continuous process improvement aligned with Bayer Group requirements, Divisions requirements (production, controlling, business steering) as well as legal requirements (IFRS, IAS).
In performing this role, you will closely interact with Divisional Product Supply Controllers and Financial Business Partners for Bayer Divisions (Pharma, Consumer Health and Crop Science) as well as external auditors.
We would expect from you: University degree in Economics / Master of Business Administration or equivalent studies in economics / management.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in COGS Controlling and/or Production Cost Accounting.
Experience in a multinational environment is considered as an advantage.
Ability to work in digital environment and with adaptability to change.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills, feels comfortable to work with senior management.
Ability to work in a virtual and international environment.
Customer centric mindset.
Knowledge of SAP modules FI, CO, SAP BW.
Uses Data Analytics and other digital tools to provide insights to support better decision making (e.G.
: VBA, Tableau, Power BI).
Business English: fluent in spoken and written
