Job Description: Main accountabilities:
Elaborate, optimize and communicate flight tests planning.
Prepare and manage flight tests dispatch. Ensure availability of flight tests documentation (including onboard and regulatory flight authorizations).
Follow-up tests execution to support maturity and safety.
Prepare and coordinate all the aspects of a test campaign.
Operate test means for flight tests (telemetry, radio, …).
Screen and optimize test requests, support readiness for test execution in close relation with stakeholders, and follow-up flight tests related certification documentation.
The jobholder is responsible for:
Leading the coordination with Flight Line, being the focal point of the Flight Test Department.
Developing the industrial flight test program and updating it in accordance with Flight test crew availability and industrial plan.
Managing the status of the helicopter, the e-logbook, and following the open points and discrepancies on the helicopter.
Preparing the briefing for the flight test crew notifying the open points to be tested during the flight.
Coordinating with flight line and projects, performing necessary contacts with both as well as with SDR to solve open discrepancies.
Managing serial helicopter configuration in coordination with Flight test Crew and production flight line.
Leading the flight test team in charge of performing VEP.
Performing necessary ground tests (radios, VFDR, IBITs, …).
Coordinating with Data Analysis to resolve main open discrepancies.
Providing necessary technical support to SDR and project.
Developing, updating, and controlling industrial flight protocols.
Preparing industrial flight reports in accordance with KPIs.
Coordinating with the program during the customer acceptance phase.
Coordinating with customer crew to fill the final acceptance flight reports.
Managing, updating, and following up on helicopter applicable directives.
