This role is available in Madrid, Milan and FrankfurtThe AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is looking for a Grid Delivery Manager to own the delivery of large scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines. If you like to leverage your technical understanding of critical substation projects including cables and overhead lines from design through energization phase, we'd like to meet you. That's why you'll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction or related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.8+ years experience leading, influencing and partnering with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-voltage (HV) grid infrastructure projects (substations, overhead lines, underground cables) under tight deadlines.5+ years experience working with Utilities with a strong understanding of Utility grid interconnection requirements and Utility culture.Demonstrated understanding of HV/MV electrical safety standards & protocols.Professional communication skills in English and Italian or German.Master's Degree (MBA/MS) preferred.Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.Experience working for utilities and with or for energy regulators.Experience with IT infrastructure, data centers, and cloud services.Ability to converse in Spanish/French is advantageous.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
