This role is vital to our seed product development, ensuring the creation of improved varieties through meticulous and precise experimental processes. The specialist will also coordinate and manage temporary workers involved in experiment conduction tasks such as pollination, emasculation, and pollen collection, ensuring smooth operations and successful project completion.Your Challenge:Supervise Greenhouse Activities: Oversee all greenhouse experiment execution, ensuring that experimental protocols and schedules are followed accurately (70%).Data Collection: Ensure accurate data collection and recording.Collaboration: Work closely with other researchers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure the success of research projects (10%).Ensure Safety Standards: Make sure that all team members follow established safety standards and protocols (10%).Manage Temporary Workers: Supervise and coordinate the activities of temporary workers, providing guidance and ensuring they follow protocols and safety standards (10%).Location: Sevilla, SpainQualificationsTo Grow What Matters, You Will NeedBachelor's or master's degree in plant science, Biology, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant R&D and greenhouse experiment conduction.Fluency in English (B2) and Spanish (Native), both written and spoken.Proficiency in using office software (e.G., Microsoft Office Suite) for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.In-depth understanding of plant physiology, greenhouse management, and gold standard processes in research.Experience in supervising and managing temporary workers, with strong organizational and communication skills.Strong understanding of safety standards and the ability to ensure they are followed effectively.Who Are We Looking For?Curious, bold thinkers who want to grow their careers and be part of a winning team
