About the Role
We are seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our innovation hub at our Professional Congress Organizer (PCO) department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality graphic designs and contributing to the overall visual identity of our projects. This role requires a strong proficiency in graphic design software, UX/UI design, and basic web development skills.
Reporting and Key Relationships
- Reports to Head of Innovation Hub
Key Relationships:
Project Managers: Collaborate closely to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions.
Web Developer: Work in tandem to ensure cohesive integration of visual designs into web platforms.
Key Activities
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral.
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines.
Prioritise and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
Collaborate with the web developer to design and implement UI/UX for web projects.
Maintain and improve the company's website, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Assist in creating video and photography content as needed.
Complexity
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Balancing creativity with technical constraints and project requirements.
Ensuring consistency in design across various media and platforms.
Adapting to rapidly changing project demands and client feedback.
Integrating feedback from various stakeholders to deliver effective design solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field or equivalent
Experience :
Ideally 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design
Proven experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Demonstrable experience in UX/UI design and understanding of design methodology.
Familiarity with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience in photography and video editing is a plus.
Skills :
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality graphic design work.
Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal,
in English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independantly.
A problem solver with highAttention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
