ABOUT THIS PROJECT We're looking for Engineering Graduates to join our Operations team in one of the following locations: Ashford (UK) & Chartres (France).
One process engineer per plant.
As our graduate process engineer, you will be working on a dedicated assignment to improve all aspects of a piece of equipment and own all KPIs related to a certain machine.
You will be doing this in one of our manufacturing plants and we will support you in your development along the way.
YOU MUST BE THE HOLDER OF A VALID PASSPORT - (MINIMUM 6 MONTHS) THE ROLE Your main tasks will be: Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses.
Create and apply setting standards that ensure the correct interaction between machine and material.
Contribute to the availability of all required information so that all operators and technicians are fully trained and qualified.
Interact with cross-functional partners and Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure effective implementation of new products.
Own change management and validation processes for a designated process.
Update process control strategies and operating procedures as changes occur.
Drive cost savings through improved productivity, material utilization improvements, and by optimizing labor.
Develop innovative process equipment solutions to deliver superior consumer-driven product designs.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING We'd love to see candidates who have: B.S.
Degree in an Engineering Discipline Hold a valid passport to allow travel to another country 0 to 2 years of working experience.
Any experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to root cause problem solving, Lean Manufacturing practices, and/or continuous improvement is a plus.
Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and mathematical/engineering methods to solve problems in a manufacturing environment (know the tools such as oka yoke / mistake proofing / pFMEA, SMED, 5S, etc., familiar with Key Performance Indicator reporting, Loss Tree, 5-whys, etc.)
Advanced Office packages skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Fluency in English and ideally in French, Spanish, or Portuguese Able to communicate efficiently, good team worker but also able to work autonomously.
