This role will contribute to the development of methodologies and practical application of regulatory tracking and analysis to align HP's Privacy program with new regulatory requirements on privacy and data protection. Will support the deployment of HP privacy policies and standards, setting functional policy for business units to follow in relation to data protection. Will support work on HP annual privacy and data protection enterprise risk assessment process.
We are looking for a recent graduate, junior with no experience (beyond Internship experience), for an initial 1 year temporary contract.
Responsibilities:
Identifies research, tools, and analyses required to conduct privacy and data protection regulatory tracking and analysis.
Contributes to process and delivery of gap analysis of data protection program in relation to new regulatory requirements.
Helps maintain and review HP data protection policies and standards in alignment with new or existing regulatory requirements and regulator interpretations of existing requirements.
Contributes to Privacy Office work on HP's annual enterprise risk assessment process.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation. Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and contribute to project objectives.
Strong relationship management skills.
Ability to identify and draw on leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to develop creative approaches and new insights for implementing compliance.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience Required:
Recent University Graduate with only Internship experience.
Completed degree in Law, Business Management, International affairs, Public Policy, political science or equivalent.
Familiarity with basic concepts of privacy and data protection.
No work experience is required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.
