Joining the team you will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Future Capabilities Engineer and can expect to be involved in our:
Technology and Innovation area, where we manage all Airbus Defence and Space Research and Technology and innovation projects up and until TRL 6. From identification, via maturation towards adoption in one of our products.System of System Chief Engineering organisation, where our Chief Engineerings working on defining the concepts for the operational capabilities of the future and on technology maturation programs for the European light house project FCAS are hosted.Future Capability Demonstration organisation, where we offer virtual and physical environments to develop and demonstrate new products and capabilities together with internal and external customers.Your development journey will also include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into this position.
At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Future Capabilities Engineer!
What we are looking for…To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, we ask that you demonstrate you have:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent within Engineering, Computer Science or Technology Management.First professional experience in the field of Engineering, Computer Science or Technology Management, where background in key technologies like Systems Engineering, Software Development or AI would be beneficial.Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).A desire to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment, focused on driving future innovation.Flexibility and adaptability to working in an evolving and ambiguous environment.Entrepreneurial mindset.The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.Please note, we love your interest in working for Airbus but we do ask that you make only one application to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme.
