Role Transport modelling: data collection, network coding, and analysis Pedestrian planning and modelling projects Transportation strategies & studies: participation in projects to evaluate transportation alternatives, mobility plans, and traffic and mobility studies Undertake analysis to support preparation of presentations and reports associated with transportation studies and traffic modelling work undertaken Motivation or use of transportation analysis software and initiate system changes if and when necessary Minimum requirements Engineering degree or Geography degree. A Master in Transport Planning or Traffic Engineering will be a plus At least 1 to 3 years' experience in traffic modelling, transport, and pedestrian planning High level of English (C1) A keen desire to improve transport systems and willingness to learn new software Numerically inclined and analytical, with good computer skills Ability to communicate verbally and in writing results of analyses and modelling Team player and flexible person Assessable requirements Experience in representation tools such as GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) Traffic simulation software (VISSIM, VISUM, Aimsun, or similar) Programming: Python Pedestrian modelling software (Legion, MassMotion, Pathfinder, or similar) Knowledge in CAD and Rhinoceros Knowledge in communication and visualization tools (InDesign, Illustrator) Any other knowledge of languages will be positively valued Conditions Immediate incorporation
