Job Description ENVIRONMENT MONITORING Continually deepen understanding of healthcare environment anticipating trends, identifying opportunities and eventual challenges. Proactively identify opportunities for AbbVie and create a favorable environment to achieve AbbVie business objectives and defend AbbVie vs. government policies that could harm the organization. Drive stakeholders' engagement: Map relevant access stakeholders to accelerate and maintain AbbVie's products access to the market. Develop the network of contacts, establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders crucial to AbbVie's brands/global goals and objectives, and leverage the relationships to increase AbbVie reputation and ensure AbbVie brands market access. Maintain WE&C and global awareness of the Spanish environment as well as updating the local teams with the relevant information from WE&C and Global. ADVOCACY PLAN Map relevant stakeholders (policymakers, decision makers, payers and trade bodies). Establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders to support AbbVie's objectives. Coordinate the development of AbbVie's network of contacts through the implementation of the institutional advocacy plan in each Region. Define and execute strategic plans and projects to leverage or mitigate upcoming changes and trends, and to position AbbVie as a partner of the NHS. REPRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY: Act as the spokesperson for the organization in government hearings, public meetings, and other relevant events. STRATEGIC ALLIANCES: Collaborate with industry associations, interest groups, and other organizations to promote the organization's objectives. Qualifications 3-5 years professional experience in government affairs or policy (e.G. in-house, trade association, consulting firm). Proven track record of successful prioritization and execution of complex strategies and tactics that involve both regional and national policy stakeholders. Experience with commercial brand team strategy development. Solid track record in team-building, coalition-development and management of complex internal and external strategic projects.
