Golf Recreation Aide

This position is located in the Morale, Welfare & Recreation Department, Naval Station Rota, Spain. The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding customer service to the golfing community and assistance to the Golf Course Professional/Manager in the day-to-day golf operational duties.Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs.A qualified candidate possesses the following:6 months of general experience OR one (1) year of education above high school.Must have experience meeting customers, handling cash and merchandise; work experience in a golf shop, participation in golf competition as a player, and other demonstrated ability in and knowledge of the game of golf is preferred.The incumbent must be familiar and comfortable dealing with the public on a daily basis.Must be familiar with cash register operations, cash handling, and reporting.Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.Work is performed indoors or outdoors under varied weather conditions. Physical exertion is involved in standing and walking for long periods.Position requires constant vigilance to ensure maximum security for both patrons and employees in and around the facility.
