By providing our customers 360-degree advice through our network of advisors, we optimise each individual's risk coverage through innovative prevention, assistance, and insurance products.As P&C Underwriting Lead (f/m/d) at Wefox Insurance, you will lead our underwriting strategy in the P&C space (personal lines mainly) to create and manage a portfolio of innovative, customer-centric products.
Responsible for the line P&L along with our actuaries, you will drive best practices with a focus on efficiency and scalability.Responsibilities Be one of the primary drivers of the development of personal lines products that are aligned with target market, value-added strategy, and create a competitive advantage to drive growth in the P&C Division.Create a circuit of operational policies, procedures and set the underwriting guidelines of personal lines products, mainly: motor, home, private liability, pet, device and bike.Contribute to the elaboration of policy wordings and technical definitions complying with relevant laws and regulations.Work closely with our actuaries to improve underwriting techniques, and design tools and methodologies for profitable risk selection and pricing which meet financial targets, and help minimize the Loss Ratio.Participate in resolution of complex claims and build relationships with distribution partners while negotiating underwriting decisions.Monitor developments in the industry, keeping a particular eye on innovation as well as shifts in the market and customer behaviour.About you 6+ years of experience in personal lines underwriting.Multi-line experience is a must.In-depth knowledge of P&C products and pricing.Excellent leadership skills of products, programs, projects and teams.Pragmatism and consequent target focus, paired with flexibility and engagement.Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge.Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus.What we offer Now, we've gotten to the fun part, the part where you get to brag about your company, those perks your friends are so jealous of!Here are some of them Flexible working hours including some days remote option.26 working days of vacation + 24th and 31st December.Seniority days: one day of extra holiday per employment year starting from the 2nd anniversary in the company (up to 30 days total holidays).Discounted fitness memberships.Up to 50% of your public transport costs reimbursed.A stack of the latest technologies and working gadgets.Free coffee, fruit and snacks, because we need fuel!Grants for training and coaching
