Description Guardian is seeking a Global Technical Project Manager. This position offers flexibility to be based within driving distance from one of our Guardian float locations in the United States or Europe. This role drives value through the scalability of operational model improvements to our processes. What You Will Do In Your Role: Work with Eng-Ex, OpEx, and Operations teams to develop pilot, program and project value propositions, scopes, budgets, and schedules. Support plant adoption of scalable solutions from an organizational and technical angle. Prepare equipment and system requirements including specifications, installation scopes of work and RFQs. Support contractor analyses and selection, contractor and contract management as required. Support the on-site activities to assure the implementation is done in full respect of safety rules, respecting timeline, budget and quality requirements. Manage the scope, budget, and schedule throughout the project and document, communicate, and get approvals for significant changes. Provide technical support to operations. Work together as a collaborative team (Guardian and Vendors) on chronic problems or large opportunities where the combined skills of the team can help to solve problems. Perform analyses to address these problems and communicate results to enable data-driven decisions. Strong verbal and written communication skills (social networking, i.E., similar but not limited to tools such as Yammer). The Experience You Will Bring: Requirements: Three (3) or more years minimum experience in a glass float process role. Statistical process control experience. Experience in MS Office. Project Management tool experience to include Gantt charts and Pareto charts. Experience analyzing and interpreting data using statistical techniques. Willing and able to travel to sites 10% - 20% of the time. What Will Put You Ahead: Bachelor's degree or higher. 5+ years of experience in a float glass process role. WBS worksheet experience.
