PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role will be essential to the team's success, operating in a dynamic, multi-national, and multi-cultural environment. Key responsibilities include managing reporting processes, ensuring corporate tax compliance, and conducting tax analysis. This position requires expertise and coordination to navigate international tax landscapes and foster global collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Reporting
Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual group reporting based on reports by the countries and financial service centers
Prepare all tax reports for internal and external stakeholders including disclosures for Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards
Analyze tax balances and tax provisions to ensure accuracy
Produce manuals with guidelines and train the accounting and reporting communities on tax reporting matters
Collaborate with the finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of tax-related items
Tax Compliance
Assist in the development and implementation of global tax strategies
Prepare BEPS Pillar II reporting including quarterly calculations on safe harbor and GLoBe rules to monitor top up tax
Prepare country by country report
Maintain proper documentation and support for tax positions
Implement all the new reporting and compliance obligations foreseen in the OECD guidelines: Pillar II, CbCR, etc
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with various departments to provide tax guidance and support
Liaise with external auditors and consultants in connection with tax-related matters and audits
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on global reporting
Experience working in a multinational corporation or a Big Four
In-depth knowledge of international tax, IFRS, US GAAP
Proficiency in tax software and financial systems and proven ability with Excel
Full professional competence in English and Spanish
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and focus on data accuracy, quality, and integrity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
