The Global Supply Planner leads the Global Supply Planning responsibilities and initiatives in support of our long-range strategic plan. The Global Supply Planner will be adept in critical thinking and primarily responsible for improving existing Supply Planning processes and systems. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global Supply Chain.Key ResponsibilitiesObtain a full understanding of the market requirements for your source of supply, and ensure agreed committed build plans align with market needs and inventory strategies.Plan and execute movement of finished goods around the global network.Maintain strong working relationships and communications directly with the manufacturing plants and suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules meet the needs of the business and customer, and monitor open distribution orders to ensure on time deliveries.Proactively assess impacts of any material availability issues.Maintain, monitor Master Data; revise essential system planning data to ensure ERP/MRP planning system is effectively planning future requirements.Inventory Management: inventory health reporting, inventory parameters, reduction and reserve percentage measurements, revaluation, Product Life Cycle management; measure related KPI's.Proactively provide supply status and shipment tracking to North America and European Customer Service teams.Participate and contribute to monthly IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process.Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of finished goods.Complete special projects and assignments as requested.QualificationBachelor's degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.4-6 years supply chain planning experience. Knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts and application. Strong analytical, planning and organization skills. Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written). Proficient in Microsoft Office. Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
