We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development & Business Development Manager to lead and build a global team of sales development representatives, reporting to our CRO.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage a high-performing team of sales development representatives in Europe.As team grows, ownership of a transactional sales team as SDRs transition to AEs.Recruit centralized and/or decentralized team that is multilingual and able to support 8 countries.Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching and targeting key accounts in the European market.Work closely with rev ups and market research team to optimize SQO delivery.Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to create and execute sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.Train and mentor sales development representatives and growth account executives on best practices for lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management.Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.Meet and exceed revenue targets for the European market.Attend and represent the company at industry events and conferences in Europe.Manage and support the growth account executives in identifying and closing large deals.RequirementsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.3+ years of experience in sales and sales management in a high-paced startup environment, both sales & SDR management preferred.1+ year of SDR/BDR experience in an outbound environment.Proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams.Strong knowledge of the European market and experience selling to European companies.Experience with CRMs (Hubspot/Salesforce), Sales Navigator, and tools like Outreach, Apollo, and Sales Loft.Enterprise/ABM based OB experience preferred.Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.Fluent in English and one or more European languages.Willingness to travel within Europe is required.BenefitsA yearly education budget, and a few extra days off to make use of it!
