We believe in the power of sustainability to drive change and are now looking for a dynamic leader to join our team as GlobalQuality and Continuous Improvement (Q&CI) Manager of GPQSS.In the role you will belong to the GPQSS global management team and report directly to the Global Head of Quality for Grid Integration.If you are passionate about sustainability, thrive on global challenges, have an appreciation for the end-to-end project value chain including manufacturing and software delivery, and are ready to shape the future of quality in the energy sector, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey!Your responsibilitiesLead, develop and inspire a global team of quality professionals and managers across different regionsDevelop and execute our global quality and continuous improvement strategy aligned with overall business goalsEnsure compliance of the management system with all relevant external certificationsDefine and promote the use of standard methods and tools in accordance with Hitachi Energy directives and regulationsDevelop the quality and continuous improvement community, from competencies and knowledge required to execute all Q&CI processes and methods to developing capability and workforce planning aligned with the strategic intent of the global product groupDesign, implement, execute, and continuously improve a system or framework to generate, prioritize and execute improvement ideas and eradicate top quality issues, striving to become a learning organizationEnsure the Voice of the Customer is represented within the business and leverage to drive the quality agendaEmpower our employees to take ownership for their performance and leveraging their abilitySolve problems through innovation and application of the quality and continuous improvement practices, in line with the Hitachi Energy Quality PolicyYour backgroundMinimum of 10 years of experience in quality management and/or continuous improvement, preferably in the energy or engineering sectorA university degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Proven experience in leading and developing global teamsDemonstrated experience leading and managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical skills, including experience with quality and continuous improvement data and data-driven decision-makingExperience in leading quality and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locationsExceptional problem-solving and communication skillsFluency in English is required, both written and spoken.
