Job Description We are looking for a Global Program Leader to work in close collaboration with the Global Program Head to ensure the following primary objectives for the allocated projects are accomplished. This role drives the creation of an integrated program strategy through engaging with and including information from all relevant key stakeholders. The Program Leader Rx is responsible for ensuring Senior Management has the right information, via discussion and presentations, to authorize final program strategy decisions. Lastly, the Program Leader Rx is responsible for transducing Senior Management priorities into the teams, and the teams' strategies, tactics, and issues to Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities Accountable for the creation and execution of the overarching program strategy, throughout the lifecycle of the product Marketing.
Accountable for developing and delivering the investment decision proposals to the relevant governance committees.
Accountable for developing the program communication.
Partners with the Project Manager to ensure the timely and cost-effective Program execution through individual work streams.
Effectively leads the Program team (Early stage) / Product Strategy Team (Late stage).
Work with the Head of Rx Strategic project to identify and embed best practices in ways of working (processes, data analysis and decision-making in the project team, project leadership) across the projects in scope.
Skills & Qualifications PhD in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Minimum of 15 years' experience in a leadership role in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry.
Experience with programs for systemic treatments (small molecule or biologics).
Strong expertise in Scientific domains relevant to Research, Preclinical, Translational science, Medical/Clinical Development, Regulatory or Pharmaceutical Development.
Experience working in, or in close collaboration with, manufacturing, medical affairs, health economics/outcomes research and/or marketing functions is considered an asset.
Track record of leading multi- and/or cross-functional teams in a R&D setting.
Experience of decision making and leadership in a cross-functional, cross-cultural environment.
Awareness of scientific as well as commercial/payer, regulatory and broader strategic aspects.
Multi-disciplinary team leadership and an excellent ability to work, communicate and make decisions in a multicultural team.
