The Global Production Supply Chain Excellence Lead will drive the digital transformation and standardization of supply chain processes across all production sites.
This role focuses on implementing advanced digital tools, optimizing production planning and scheduling, and fostering collaboration to enhance efficiency, transparency, and integration across the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain.
A deep understanding of manufacturing processes and strong stakeholder management skills are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Digitalization Lead the deployment of digital tools and systems, such as: Production Scheduling: Implement demand driven detailed scheduling tools Production Planning: Implement advanced planning systems for predictive modeling and real-time adjustments Digital Value Stream Mapping: Standardize value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and enhance process transparency Collaborate with IT and technical teams to integrate production supply chain systems and consolidate data into a unified platform.
Performance Metrics and Analytics Establish and monitor a standardized set of KPIs across production sites, focusing on OTIF, lead times, and inventory management Develop performance monitoring tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights for data-driven decision-making Support the creation of an E2E control tower, enabling real-time visibility of flows, inventory, and demand-supply management.
Standardization and Best Practices Analyze current processes and tools at production sites to define standardized practices and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with E2E supply chain teams to define group-wide standards for planning, including S&OP and supply planning Foster best practice sharing across regions, sites, and technology platforms to drive alignment and efficiency.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Partner with production managers, regional supply chain heads, and other stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and initiatives Cultivate strong relationships with site leaders and global supply chain leadership to ensure alignment and commitment Actively participate in defining and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of supply chain teams globally.
Requirements needed Master's degree in supply chain, engineering, commercial and or business administration 10+ years Supply Chain experience in related fields (e.g., supply chain, logistics, distribution, WH management) Fluent English spoken and written, other languages are an asset (DE/FR/ES/PT) Ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-making.
Understanding of customers' business and supply chain needs to design effective solutions Familiarity with digital technologies and process design.
Proven track record in global supply chain management, including S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, & MRP tools.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
