This position leads the provision of legal and contract management services of the Procurement Department ensuring that all procurement contracts are negotiated and executed globally in accordance with related policies and procedures.Job Responsibilities:Leadership Role: Overseeing delivery of legal and contract management services to the Procurement Department, managing the Global Procurement Contracts Team, and coordinating activities of regional lawyers.Legal Advice: Reviewing procurement contracts and providing advice to the Procurement Managers and relevant stakeholders on procurement contracts and risk mitigation.Knowledge Transfer and Training: Providing and disseminating legal documents, information, and materials related to procurement contracts, and offering training across all regions.Coordination: Working closely with Procurement Managers on contractual and legal matters, ensuring compliance with internal policies and developing contract templates.Qualifications and Competencies: Master's degree in law and a minimum of eight years of experience in a corporate legal capacity within an international environment.
Excellent understanding of legal and contractual issues, strong skills in drafting high-value procurement contracts, and demonstrated success in negotiations.
Strong initiative, excellent communication and leadership skills, project management skills, and fluency in Business English are compulsory; other languages are advantageous.#J-18808-Ljbffr
