We are looking for you, a Global Procurement Category Manager, Property, Facility Management and Utilities who will bring value to our Indirect procurement team by ensuring development of Category Management (Sourcing and contract management), supplier relationships and developing sustainable value adding solutions. Make an impact and drive improvements In this newly created position you will be responsible for work associated with all aspects of strategic sourcing of the Global spend on the defined categories under Property, Facility Management and Utilities within the Hempel Group. You will report to Group Procurement Director for Indirect, work closely together with all parts of the business like commercial, finance, external suppliers, and collaborating with other colleagues from all over the world. A skilled negotiator with global Indirect Spend experience You have experience within strategic sourcing and procurement of Property, Facility Management and Utilities, a global category approach and are comfortable working with many different cultures, and continuously optimize our indirect spend in this area. Key task Sourcing and Procurement of the global category defined as Property, Facility Management and Utilities aligned with the relevant businesses' requirements Develop and execute category strategy focused on cost, collaboration, contracts and compliance Planning, negotiating and contracting all relevant marketing sourcing related activities Continuously optimize the categories and spend by driving cost focused initiatives Stakeholder management with both internal and external stakeholders What does it take to become our new team member? Relevant experience in global category management (strategic sourcing and procurement) Extensive working experience (3 years as minimum) within real estate/property from a strategic procurement perspective from larger, international Companies Skilful and experienced negotiator Solid experience working with contract lifecycle management Strong relationship-builder with internal and external stakeholders Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English Experience working and communicating with senior stakeholders (Director, VP level etc.) Master degree or relevant educational background and/or experience from Consultancy would be a benefit You will be working from one of our offices in either Lyngby, Denmark, Darwen, UK, Gdansk, Poland or Barcelona, Spain Join a company and department that will invest in you You will be part of the Group Procurement, consisting of 55 colleagues around the world.
