We're seeking a Global Policy Project Manager to support our Global Corporate Affairs function. In this role, you'll work closely with the Policy, Advocacy and Health Equity (PAHE) team, executing strategies and leading projects that foster top talent and peak performance. You'll also support AZ's flagship platform, the Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience (PHSSR), working with a broad stakeholder network to develop and implement recommendations for key challenges facing health systems.
Accountabilities:
Manage core PAHE team priorities, including developing high-quality internal communications.
Coordinate the build-out of a one-stop-shop for key policy, advocacy and health equity deliverables.
Support the organization of team meetings.
Assist with program management tasks, external communications, global engagements and events for the PHSSR.
Work closely with internal teams on global, regional and national levels to ensure seamless delivery of company objectives in the PHSSR.
Essential Skills/Experience:
2-4 years of corporate affairs project management/communications experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong planning skills, including budgeting, tracking, assets storing and structuring.
Excellent written skills and skills in developing high-quality presentations (MS Powerpoint).
Problem-solving ability to resolve conflict and deal with complex problems independently.
Track record of successful projects managed from ideation to execution.
Awareness of pharmaceutical industry compliance requirements.
Ability to execute complex, matrixed projects, achieving results independently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Eagerness to learn about health policy, advocacy and health equity.
Fluent English; a second language would be an advantage.
Education in health policy or a related field is a plus.
