You'll combine creativity and intellectual excellence with the organizational skills to manage various campaigns, projects and initiatives. In this role, you'll advocate for Google to bring external perspectives back into the company to inform our perception and direction. You're passionate about the opportunity to shape the future of how we use and build technology for everyone.You will join Google's Content team in the Government Affairs and Public Policy Centers of Excellence. This is a diverse global team, working across geographies, business areas and functions to help shape Google's approach to content regulation and the future of the open web.In this role, you will drive projects and positions across several issues relating to information quality and content moderation, with a focus on misinformation, disinformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and content responsibility, and information quality. You will provide subject matter expertise and advice to internal stakeholders working on these issues and represent the company with external stakeholders, including policymakers, third-party experts, civil society organizations, and industry groups. You will also partner with a roster of product, legal, communications, government affairs, and trust and safety teams across the company to work and help Google earn and retain the trust of our users and stakeholders.Google takes its responsibilities seriously, including engaging with government and other stakeholders on important public policy challenges. The Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) team leads the company's engagement with executive branch officials, legislators, regulators and third-parties in the formation of public policy
