This is a diverse global team, working across geographies, business areas, and functions to help shape Google's approach to content regulation and the future of the open web.In this role, you will:Drive projects and positions across several issues relating to information quality and content moderation, focusing on misinformation, disinformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), content responsibility, and information quality.Provide subject matter expertise and advice to internal stakeholders working on these issues and represent the company with external stakeholders, including policymakers, third-party experts, civil society organizations, and industry groups.Partner with a roster of product, legal, communications, government affairs, and trust and safety teams across the company to help Google earn and retain the trust of our users and stakeholders.Google takes its responsibilities seriously, including engaging with government and other stakeholders on important public policy challenges.The Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) team leads the company's engagement with executive branch officials, legislators, regulators, and third-parties in the formation of public policy.
