Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Finance and Accounting trainer to join This Company Business School, under the Finance Talent Development Dept (FTDD). The primary responsibility is to develop talent for the Finance Service Line and This Company at a Group level. The Division includes personnel serving as instructors, course content developers, and subject matter experts in talent management. The personnel also serve as coordinators by working with SMEs from various business segments (Controllers, Treasury, Group Finance, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit) in designing and delivering courses. In addition, the Finance Admin Area is responsible for bi-monthly keynote speaker series and other specialized certification programs (CFA, CPA, CMA, CIA, IFRS).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and develop curricula for accounting, finance, and other business domains within This Company Business School.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) from various business segments, such as Controllers, Treasury, Group Finance, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit, to develop courses.
- Collaborate with SMEs to co-deliver courses, ensuring alignment with business objectives and learning outcomes.
- Identify and recommend new course offerings based on industry trends and organizational needs.
- Continuously update course materials with new knowledge and best practices.
- Participate in planning initiatives aimed at enhancing talent development within the Finance Service Line and This Company.
- Successfully complete ad-hoc tasks as required to support the goals of the Finance Talent Development Department (FTDD) and This Company Business School.
Requirements
- Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline from a reputable University.
- Possession of relevant professional certification such as CMA, CFA, CPA, or CA.
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience, with at least 5 years in training and development.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated leadership in projects.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
