They will independently initiate research on a wide variety of topics relevant to the Companys competitive advantage in the Downstream business and prepare research and analyses as required by Downstream executive management the Downstream Investment & Strategy Committee or other Corporate Committees. This will include analysis of developments in technology geopolitics sustainability and other relevant regulations Saudi Arabias government plans and the Downstream industry in general.Additionally the incumbent will participate in the formulation and maintenance of the overarching Downstream strategy as well as in the management of Downstream strategy execution.This involves collaborating in the formulation of strategies for the Downstream businesses translating the strategies into investment plans for capital planning purposes as well as into business plans for overall resource planning purposes and KPI monitoring. The incumbent will furthermore lead and/or collaborate in strategic projects to execute decisions resulting from strategic analyses.The role requires the building and maintaining of strong relationships with subject matter experts across the Company as well as from think tanks and other industry advisory bodies in order to keep abreast of key developments in the Downstream business globally as well as other arenas that could impact the This Company Downstreams competitive performance.
