Business Unit : Medical Affairs Reports to: Field Manager, Amplity Health Location: Spain Territory: Spain + 3 other countries within Europe Individual or Manager: Individual Purpose of Role Leads and is primarily accountable for activities related to the endometrial carcinoma pivotal trial, including follow up of trial recruitment in coordination to other functions.
Supports interpretation of the endometrial cancer clinical trial results with the cross functional team.
Participates in cross-functional teams to generate, deliver, and disseminate high-quality clinical data supporting the endometrial carcinoma trial from a scientific and clinical perspective.
Is at the forefront of a pivotal study in the advanced / recurrent endometrial carcinoma.
As the field point person, focuses most of their time (approx.
75%) in the field, interacting with clinical trial investigators.
Works closely with the Scientific Executive Director, GMA, Solid Tumours, in alignment with the EMEA field medical team (MSLs) and other regions as necessary.
Visits and interacts with investigational sites regularly, engaging with clinical investigators and experts.
Acts as the face of the biotech from a clinical perspective in the field capturing insights, helping patient and site recruitment, supporting study questions & clarification, performing site visits as needed, engaging in the disease state scientific discussion, supporting the engagements with investigators.
Key Accountabilities: Demonstrate ownership of the follow up of the endometrial cancer study in support of delivering the study as per plan, based on strong medical and scientific principles, knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, investigational sites or biotech's customers.
Oversee project-related education of investigators, study site personnel, and biotech's study staff.
Follow up of study recruitment against planned study timelines.
Plan and schedule visits to investigational sites at start up and during study conduct.
Be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining investigational sites communication.
Stay abreast of professional information and technology through conferences, medical literature, and other available training, to augment expertise in the therapeutic area.
Represent biotech at key external meetings concerning the endometrial cancer area.
Qualifications: An advanced doctoral degree (MD, PHD, Pharm D) or MSc.
3+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience as a medical science liaison in a global biotech or pharma company and experience in the oncology therapeutic area.
Expert scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge, with an emphasis in oncology.
Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, commercial, and clinical issues affecting the pharmaceutical and managed care industries.
Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Highly developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation formats.
Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication.
Ability to assert own ideas and persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.
Demonstrated skill at promoting team cooperation and a commitment to team success.
Adept at seeing change as an opportunity to improve business performance and campaigning for it when necessary.
Willingness to travel up to 70% internationally.
Fluency in English & local language of your country of residence.
