Orion's Branded Products business division seeks to maximize the value of Orion's in-house developed cornerstone products through innovative customer engagement. We have recently established a Global Medical Affairs Team dedicated to Branded Products. We are now looking for a Global Medical Lead, Respiratory to join our business to drive and lead the growth according to business strategy.

Description of position The responsibilities of this strategic role include the following (including, but not be limited to):

Support the Orion respiratory business by developing and leading the implementation of the Global Medical Affairs strategy in respiratory, especially focusing on our DPI platform and its development across the therapy area. Supporting the Global Marketing and working cross-functionally with Commercial Operations and medical teams in Orion subsidiaries and partners. This includes collaboration with the creation of global marketing material, its global approvals and compliance management. Responsible for data generation by planning and contributing to post-marketing studies and managing publication processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Develop and manage key opinion leaders and other relevant external stakeholder networks. Collect insights from external stakeholders and multidisciplinary networks. Planning and implementation of medical education activities. Partner with patient advocacy groups. Represent Orion and collaborate in relevant external scientific coalitions. The position offers an exciting and challenging cross-functional opportunity to work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The location for the role can be negotiated and you can work flexibly in any of the Orion office locations in a hybrid model in accordance with Orion's relevant guidelines.

Description of unit The Branded Products business division seeks to maximize the value of Orion's in-house developed cornerstone products through innovative customer engagement and portfolio development. Promotional synergy will enable Orion to launch and grow new branded products in the specialties of Respiratory, Parkinson's Disease (PD), other Central Nervous System (CNS), and Women's Health through own development and in-licensing. The Global Medical Affairs Branded Products is created to further strengthen the scientific value of Orion brands and elevate development competency of pipeline products. Branded products sales regions consist of Central, Western and Southern Europe and the Asia Pacific Region. However, we work closely with all Orion sales regions.

Requirements As the successful Global Medical Lead, you will have the following professional and educational experience:

Medical doctor or another suitable scientific background, preferably with a PhD. Previous experience on working in pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs positions would be very valuable. Preferably previous experience in respiratory diseases. Fluency in written and verbal English required. Strategic thinking and ability to translate scientific data into clear messages. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional international team. Organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills. The chosen candidate must be able to work in a compliant and confidential manner. We expect from all employees the ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary and international team of various stakeholders.
