Job DescriptionAs Global Medical Director Immunology and Inflammation, you will strategically lead different parts of the medical plan (i.e.: medical education, IITs, KOL engagement plan, post hoc analysis and publication strategy, internal learning and development, medical societies engagement plan, etc.). You will be acting, behaving and delivering accordingly with a high level of internal and external collaboration and engagement to enhance overall Galderma patient and stakeholder centricity and satisfaction.
Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and translate into Medical Affairs strategy and plans the unmet medical needs and patient access needs to contribute to impactful patient outcomes.In collaboration with the Global Medical Indication Lead, develop and implement medical strategy for nemolizumab in Prurigo Nodularis and Atopic Dermatitis.Ensure the development and implementation of an effective franchise medical communication strategy and plan for each nemolizumab indication linked to the annual brand plan and the Global Integrated project plan.Lead the medical communication strategy, aligned with global medical strategy, local countries needs and ensure execution of key activities.Lead the scientific collaboration with the medical community, building and strengthening the global external expert relationship.Support identification and collaboration with global professional societies to help improve patients' outcomes in atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis.Develop and maintain best in class external engagement plan with multi stakeholders in Dermatology.Support Medical scientific review of business development opportunities in the therapeutic area of focus.Develop internal training material related to disease state, medical strategy and new nemolizumab data.Ensure local countries have the required material to drive successful medical launch strategy.Ensure Franchise Medical Affairs activities are designed and executed in compliance with companywide policy guidelines and medical quality standards.RequirementsMedical Degree (MD), Medical scientific PhD or another adequate Natural Science (PharmD) higher degree is required; a Dermatology or Immunology expertise will be important.7+ years in the industry including a successful experience in US, regional or global medical affairs role.Pre-launch/launch experience with specialty medicines in the field of specialty product in dermatology/immunology/allergy/rheumatology required (i.e.: biologics, systemics).Business acumen and market knowledge is required.Leadership capability.Innovative thinking, good judgment, and sense of ethics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with key opinion leaders and the medical/scientific communities at large.Strong interpersonal skills - ability to interact with all levels within the organization and to deal with key opinion leaders.
