We are committed to helping create healthier communities worldwide through education, outreach and better access to treatment.The Role & What You Will Be DoingGlobal Medical Affairs Lead (Immunology) is responsible for providing medical affairs support for the immunology product under development, encompassing Phase 3 study through pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities, including pre-approval and approval processes.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the Global Medical Affairs Lead (Immunology) role will make an impact:Work with medical and cross-functional colleagues for generating, disseminating, and educating medical experts and key stakeholders on data and scientific information.Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues across Viatris, provide expertise as needed for medical discussions.Provide subject matter expertise in the assigned therapy area and assets.Oversee innovative product medical strategy and conduct medical and clinical reviews.Lead Medical Affairs engagement interfacing with key functions.Engage in external collaborations to gain insights for product development.Responsible for reviewing manuscripts for alignment with strategy.Build visibility for the company's innovative programs through publications.Develop the in-year medical tactical plan and manage budget for global initiatives.Collaborate with country medical affairs to support development plans.Provide TA medical leadership through accountability for strategic medical initiatives.Lead functional plans supporting the global medical strategy.Develop and maintain Global & Key Regional KOL panel.Educate Immunologists and Rheumatologists on product differentiation and outcomes.Ensure TA Training & capability development of medical teams.Participate in product development strategy and lifecycle management.Serve as a company scientific representative to engage external leaders.Ensure robust post-marketing surveillance and compliance.Other duties as assigned
