Location: Kelowna, Vancouver, Seattle or Remote from Canada, Washington or California stateThe Opportunity: The Global Marketing Manager for New Global Markets is an integral role in the function of the New Global Markets team. This group plays a key role in supporting players by driving the development of our current and new games into new markets. As the Global Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for running campaigns and executing on global marketing strategies. The Global Marketing Manager will report to the Director of New Global Markets and will collaborate closely with the Hyper Hippo Marketing team. This role is critical for the smooth running of the department and the attainment of its goals, as well as the long-term growth of the company.A Global Marketing Manager's Impact:Track and manage localization and transcreation of marketing assets to support product launches and ongoing campaigns, developing a pipeline of assets on paid and organic channels.Develop original content that speaks directly to customers in their native language and with the right level of cultural relevance.Execute and report on App Store Optimization (ASO) experiments for regional markets with a goal of growing our volume of organic downloads for a global audience.Establish professional relationships with outside vendors and agencies to aid coordination in promotional activities.Participate in competitive research analysis and identify the latest trends in the industry, making recommendations to continually refine our strategies around acquisition, engagement, and retention for regional markets.Stay on top of all projects in motion, effectively communicate potential challenges and pitfalls.Clearly and effectively communicate deliverables, budget, and timing with stakeholders.Conduct post-mortem analysis for projects, compile data, and write campaign reports.Coordinate regional product PR through global press releases.Your Track Record Includes:Proven experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams.1-3 years of experience in a marketing department.Bilingualism/multilingualism an asset.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.A willingness to learn, develop, and grow.Experience in entertainment or gaming preferred but not required.Bonus points for global or multi-country localization and/or transcreation experience.Compensation Package:Competitive salary and extraordinary incentive plan tied to company goals.Extended health, dental & vision benefits, a health & wellness spending account, and an employee & Family Assistance Program.3 weeks vacation - paid winter holiday closure - 10 paid personal/sick days per year.Annual $3,000 self-development budget to attend conferences, courses, training you name it!Work Style Benefit - $100/month stipend to help cover the cost of parking, home internet, fitness apps - whatever you need to be comfortable working from home or in one of our hub offices!Home Ergonomic Benefit for your home office - $1,000.Paid short or long-term parental leave.Charitable gift matching up to $1,000 per year for recognized causes that you support - 3 paid volunteer days per year.We have 3 hub offices located in Kelowna, Vancouver, and Seattle along with remote employees across North America.
