Job Description: We are the Global Marketing Team for the Connectivity and Products division at SGS.
We are wholly responsible for establishing the annual global marketing and communication plans to promote services and events in the consumer goods and retail industry.
Our remit covers everything from textile, footwear, electrical and electronic products, to toys, furniture, hardgoods and automotive as well as trade facilitation services.
Specific Responsibilities: Run global marketing and communication campaigns; develop, implement, track, and optimize for digital channels.Manage marketing and communication projects from ideation to completion and coordinate efforts with a wide range of stakeholders; from sub-business unit heads to regional affiliate teams.Plan, strategize and realize social media campaigns to drive better engagement and reach.
Manage the content calendar and support the regions in posting only the best content to deliver value.Responsible for the organization and promotion of events, including webinars and trade fairs.Responsible for the creation of marketing and communications materials to promote the company, in collaboration with design teams and copywriters (brochures, flyers, presentations, videos, etc.
).Organize and manage tradeshow participation from booth design to execution.Organize webinars (including logistics, briefing materials, visual materials, dry run, reporting and so on).Liaise and support organizers, partners and sponsors, as needed.Maintain close relationships with the division, regional teams and the wider group.Maintain up-to-date contact lists, both internally and externally.Support and add value to the local and global teams in their marketing and communications activities.Brand guardians adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures.Handle incoming requests for content approval from the regional teams.Manage client expectations with day-to-day reporting and explanation of requirements of analysis, specification, design of projects on a technical and nontechnical basis.Provide advice on marketing and communication matters at a local and global level.Qualifications: Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Marketing and/or Communications, Digital learning a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably for a global company.Experience in Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy and constantly look to innovate and ameliorate campaigns based on sound knowledge of reporting and analytics.Prioritize the value proposition to our stakeholders with a clear focus on targeting and structure.Content development, social media community management and insights.Any background in the consumer products industry would be a plus as would experience in sustainability practices and processes.Additional Information: This position will be based in Madrid, Spain and offer flexible working.
