In your day to day, you will be responsible for leading the central marketing function for all of Amadeus' Travel Unit.Working with stakeholders across the company, the central marketing function drives the global marketing activities for the Travel Unit: it defines the global marketing strategy, sets out the overall marketing plan, drives all customer vertical marketing, defines campaigns, and manages central customer communications.It orchestrates the marketing activities and messaging across customer verticals, business lines, and regions, ensuring their consistency. It feeds the three regional field marketing units, which tailor and execute the marketing plan.Key Responsibilities:Define the global marketing strategy for the Travel Unit:Create the global marketing strategy, transposing business objectives into marketing objectives.Integrate and adjust the marketing strategies from Customer Verticals.Define the marketing playbook with guidelines for events, sponsorships, customer engagements, speakers, communication and channel strategy.Define framework to orchestrate initiatives (verticals, business lines, regions and corporate).Create the umbrella Travel Unit-level marketing positioning, value proposition and narrative.Define the global marketing plan and budget allocation for the Travel Unit:Define the marketing plan and budget allocation, and cascade down.Monitor performance metrics and adjust initiatives to maximise growth and ROI.Define the Customer Vertical Marketing strategies and plans:Develop the Customer Verticals, with senior vertical experts/leaders, evangelizing clear marketing visions and strategies for their respective verticals.Develop deep understanding of each customer vertical, their business needs, their strategies.Collaborate with product and regional teams to create compelling value propositions.Develop the core marketing content for Customer Verticals:Develop, adapt and package all relevant marketing artefacts for each vertical e.G. themes, content, narratives, positioning, value propositions, offer packaging.Create campaign briefs for the campaign team, and accompany the execution.Design, deploy and monitor marketing campaigns, and central customer communications:Design the marketing campaigns from the briefs, with corresponding KPIs and metrics for campaign success.Design the creative content, based on the marketing content developed upstream.Review with key stakeholders, customer verticals and field marketing (regional adjustments).Lead, review and/or deploy central customer comms as needed (e.G. pricing comms, crisis comms)
