Job Description: Working as a core member of our Industrial & Environments business unit, you will develop and implement our market penetration strategy for the Rail sector. Our rail services include: Rail certification, inspection, assessment and testing, Independent compliance (DEBO). Additionally, you will contribute to commercial development, strategic sales and acquisitions activities.
More specifically, you will: Understand the global "thought leaders" direction, challenges and needs through close interaction with senior management within their organizations;Understand the key customer challenges & needs, the drivers of their needs and the decision-making process;Prepare and keep up to date market segment penetration strategy aligned with global market trends;Identify gaps in service portfolio and coordinate with service segment managers to find solutions (e.g. develop in-house innovative solution, acquisition, partnership);Work with segments managers to prepare long-term changes to market needs and SGS response to those future needs;Communicate with the affiliates and regional teams the assigned market segment tendencies, challenges and penetration strategy aimed to create growth with local and regional accounts;Collaborate with affiliates to implement market segment penetration strategy within their local and regional markets and client base;Drive commercial development (lead role with key clients) and play a key role in preparing large proposals and customer engagements;Liaise with I&E marketing manager to develop assigned market segment.Qualifications: Minimum 5-year experience in the Rail sector, preferably in TIC, technical services or engineering/consulting;Demonstrable track record in business and/or market development;Familiar with matrix structured international organisations advantageous;International exposure at senior management level with major international and regional companies within the assigned global market segment desirable;Fluent in English.Additional Information:
