Overview: Global IBP The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process aims to transform business decision making that will result in profitable and sustainable growth balancing strategic, financial and operational objectives. It is a cross-functional, rolling planning process integrating product, marketing, sales, Demand chain, partner and financial plans into one aligned plan for the business through a global standard. This single set of numbers will leverage next generation orchestration and analytic technology coupled with data and digital savvy PepsiCo talent, and - in most markets - an enabling decision-support tool, ensuring agile and fast decision-making to take us to the next level above the competition.
IBP goes beyond Demand & demand matching; it is a leap forward for the business, enabling faster, more coordinated and more informed decision making with increased visibility from supplier to customer. It is action-oriented and focused on the business across weekly Sales & Operations Execution (iS&OE;), Period Sales & Operations Planning (iS&OP;), and Yearly Strategic Planning.
Global IBP Planning: Demand Forecasting Team. The Global IBP Planning Team are accountable for all the functional elements of the IBP and DP Process, Organization and Technology design and its implementation in the different sectors aligned to the IBP program Roadmap. In the Forecasting space, the team supports from the Forecasting Strategy and Vision to all the phases of the deployments and sustain to continuously improve the accuracy of the Driver Based Forecast (DBF) being the Business Owner of the Forecasting Capabilities in IBP.
Responsibilities:
Drive and coordinate the Global Forecasting Cross-functional teams and Forecasting Global Community of Practice
Business owner of the IBP Forecasting Capabilities / Products, including the PFE (PepsiCo Forecasting Engine)
Design the IBP global template with a focus on the forecasting components of IBP and the integration with Demand Planning process and underlying commercial planning processes informing demand drivers for the short-term, mid-term and long-term horizons, mirroring the 3 sub-processes of IBP (iS&OE;, iS&OP; and Strategic Planning)
Develop, document and maintain the cross-functional Forecasting Playbook covering Forecasting Strategy and Framework, Implementation approach, Functional Design and Architecture, Governance and Ways of Working for the different phases and the Global IBP Team
Specify, document and maintain the global products and global system architecture functional requirements for forecasting, together with enterprise architecture, IT, digital product and D&A; teams
Build and maintain the specific global Forecasting functional training content together with the Capability team
Ensure that business and user requirements are identified and addressed through the design of these processes, systems architecture, products and capabilities
Specify and document the appropriate organizational structures to operate forecasting processes efficiently and effectively
Identify and document which processes or activities should be automated, centralized or eliminated
Prepare and present to the global design authority to get any approval of the global design template or any changes to this global template
Align and document any changes to the IBP demand planning processes as impacted by other changes
Help architect the IBP-DP vision, processes, products and capabilities
Identify industry best practices and propose their adoption
Channel continuous improvement ideas and help select suitable ones to turn into design projects
Function as a global super user to deliver support and training on Forecasting related processes and technologies
Support the hiring, training and onboarding of new IBP process design members
Support implementation teams on quality assurance and consistency across all phases and IBP deployments
