.DescriptionAs Global Heavy Lift Manager, Transport & Logistics Manager you are responsible for communicating and driving the implementation of the Trade, Transport & Logistics (TT&L) strategy within the organization in close alignment and collaboration with interfacing functions. You will act as change-agent and support the successful rollout and seamless implementation of new TT&L projects, tools, and processes and drive the implementation of best practices to ensure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and service optimization. Furthermore you will deliver on the KPI's and drive the continuous improvement of processes, tools and services by leading the regional Heavy Lift Transportation teams across the Transformers organization.Our flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow. For this role we follow a hybrid work structure where you can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences.This role can be based anywhere in Europe close to a Hitachi Energy location.Your responsibilitiesHeavy Lift (H/L) Transportation ManagementLead the global Heavy Lift Transportation Management process governance for Hitachi Energy and drive operational excellence by ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations and the Risk Control Notification (RCN) process requirements under the Marine Cargo Risk Management ProgramWithin Transformers ensure safe and compliant end-to-end transportation planning & execution from order intake until contractual handover to customer, analyze deviations and ensure corrective actions implementedGeneral Cargo Transportation ManagementDrive compliance with global policies, instructions, processes and initiatives in the region as per the defined governance model until full transition to the TT&L Center of Expertise (CoE) organizationMonitor CoE Service performance for CoE covered General Cargo Operations and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with the TT&L CoEEnsure that the TT&L requirements of the BU Transformers are understood and met during the roll out of the Center of Expertise (CoE) strategyYour backgroundBachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management or Maritime Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experienceMore than 15 years of experience in InternationalTransportation Management and/or Freight Forwardingincl
