This is a highly strategic and visible role within Confluent.Success in the role requires projecting confidence earned through experience, gaining trust, partnering with internal stakeholders, and persuading decision-makers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) are a must.
Candidates should also be data-driven and operationally-minded as optimizing SDR efficiency and productivity will be critical to sustainability and driving scale.
Finally, this role requires creativity and innovation.
SDRs are at the "tip of the spear" in Confluent's evolving Customer Growth strategy, and we encourage experimentation with role design and deployment strategies to support our strategic Go-To-Market objectives.What You Will Do:Global ownership for Inbound SDRs and Hybrid Inbound/Outbound SDRs with direct reports that own the Americas, Europe, and Asia.Accountable for driving and communicating SDR performance KPIs (ex: meetings, signups, qualified pipeline), SLAs, and lead conversion rate goals in close partnership with sales, marketing and product-led-growthCollaborate closely with senior cross-functional leaders to design ways to improve & optimize marketing and product lead conversion to revenueResponsible for operational execution of Confluent's Digital SDR initiative, working closely with its Business and IT stakeholdersMaintain consistent capacity of top-talent across all teams, while developing a long-term career path for that talent internallyHelp build a vibrant culture in the SDR organization while bringing a strong sense of operational excellence and rigorWhat You Will Bring:Minimum requirement of 3+ years of 1st Line SDR leadership experience with a strong performance historySaaS and SDR expertise; parallel industry or PLG experience a plusBackground of successful building, growing, and motivating SDR teamsProficient at working with data & analytics, forecasting, and stakeholder mgmtWhat Gives You an Edge:1+ years of 2nd line SDR leadership experience, as well as, experience managing global teamsCome As You AreAt Confluent, equality is a core tenet of our culture
