YOUR MISSIONThe mission of the Head of Operations is to transform the long-term plan for IKONO spaces into tangible actions, ensuring effective execution and alignment with the overarching organizational mission as well as maximizing revenues in spaces, with a focus on:
Delivering outstanding customer experiences,Maintaining IKONO spaces to the highest standards,Ensuring IKONO spaces deliver maximum revenues without compromising customer experiences and quality standards,Leading operations teams,Successfully planning and executing new openings.Your ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience Excellence (10/10):Establish and enforce a rigorous maintenance regimen to guarantee that all IKONO spaces are impeccably maintained, consistently meeting the desired standards. Foster a culture of pride and responsibility among the spaces' team, ensuring that each member is committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics.Lead the correct review, creation, implementation, and supervision of a manual of standards in each of the actual and new IKONO spaces to ensure consistent quality and adherence to organizational guidelines. Implement the standards through the team.Develop a system of regular audits and performance evaluations to track adherence to maintenance standards, promptly addressing any deviations to ensure a consistently outstanding and well-maintained environment for visitors. Conduct the audits through the team.Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to consistently deliver a flawless 10/10 customer experience across all IKONO spaces.Ensure Outstanding Client Interaction: Through the implementation of training programs, communication initiatives, etc. ensure that staff members consistently deliver an exceptional level of interaction with clients across all immersive exhibits and galleries.People Management:Effectively lead the team in the IKONO Operations' Organization, including venue Teams and sales teams.Foster motivation within the team, ensuring high employee engagement and alignment with the organizational culture.Management and supervision of the operations and sales teams: definition of objectives, monitoring of tasks, control of workloads, etc.Coordination with the human resources area for the execution of talent attraction, retention, and development policies.Ownership of Budget and full P&L for IKONO Spaces (including revenues):Take ownership of budgets, sales and full profit and loss (P&L) statements for actual and new IKONO spaces, ensuring financial objectives are met.Propose, develop, and control the budget to achieve objectives.Develop and implement a B2B and B2C sales strategy that maximizes the revenues in each IKONO space while maintaining quality standards.Develop and implement upselling activities.Develop KPIs, targets, and performance measurement systems to track revenues and upselling activities.Structural Planning for Refurbishment and New Openings:Develop and execute comprehensive plans for new openings, encompassing organizational structure, staffing, P&L and logistics.Establish and implement standardized processes and procedures for new openings to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.YOU BRING8 years' experience in the retail, hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment industries.3 years' experience with Regional Operations responsibility, reporting to COO or CEO.You have led a minimum of 10 spaces and have played a leading role in new openings.Experience in growing business. Meaning: Planning workforce needs (people), systems and logistic needs and being able to translate strategy into actionable plans.Languages: Native or bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Other European languages would be an advantage.Who You AreGreat "people person", skilled manager.
