This position will report directly to the COO and will help to keep updated the developments and initiatives for the team agenda under its responsibility. The position will be based in Madrid.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doingManagementOversee the finance & accounting operations of all the locations globally, managing finance teams in +20 countriesCoordinate month-end and ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly resultsReview cash flow actuals and forecast with the country teamsSupport along with FP&A the budgeting and forecasting processOperationsReview business KPIs and issue recommendations Senior Management to drive profitabilityManage finance structure and cost to drive efficiency globallyMonitor cost across the different segments.ComplianceOversee compliance with local reporting requirements and tax filings globally.Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual auditEnsure that all protocols are performed according to brand standards in each location.Develop accounting policies and finance SOPs and ensure compliance globally.Requirements (language, years of experience, area of experience, specific knowledge)What you need for the role10+ years of Finance; Accounting experience in the hospitality industryHigh school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferredExcellent knowledge of accounting (accounts payable/general ledger, financial chart of accounts, etc.)Good knowledge of corporate procedures and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, etc.)Fluent or capable of working in Spanish and EnglishProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordNetSuite experience is desirable
