Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Global Head of Logistics to join our team and drive excellence in our logistics and serialization operations. The role reports to Global Head of Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Organisation and People Leadership: Provide clear guidance on vision, objectives, and expected contributions to global and local teams.
Support: Regularly communicate with and visit supply chain resources, offering functional leadership, coaching, feedback, and training.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on external customers, to successfully implement improvement programs.
Continuous Improvement: Identify key areas for improvement and align the organization to achieve short, mid, and long-term targets.
Networking: Promote networking and cross-functional programs within and outside the organization.
Cost and Customer Experience Improvement Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure all distribution activities are focused on customer needs.
Optimization: Seek solutions to optimize distribution for cost, service, quality, and sustainability.
Efficiency: Advocate for tools and systems to maximize efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Collaboration: Highlight business opportunities and collaborate across company functions.
Efficiency Programs: Drive supply chain efficiency programs, focusing on cost to serve and sustainability initiatives.
Physical Logistics Processes & Solutions Distribution Network: Ensure a suitable distribution network and solutions are defined and support their implementation to meet current and future business needs.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure continuous improvement and commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, ESG, Quality, and CARE regulations and best practices.
Third-Party Management: Ensure third-party service providers are selected and managed according to industry best practices and Galderma standards.
Serialization and Track & Trace Accountability: Ensure serialization and track & trace needs from regulatory and business perspectives are addressed.
Integration: Fully integrate serialization and track & trace within digitalization initiatives.
Coordination: Coordinate all serialization and track & trace initiatives across the company with relevant stakeholders.
Strategy & Governance: Lead the serialization and track & trace strategy and governance at the operational level.
Skills & Qualifications University degree in Business and/or Engineering or MBA is preferred.
Proven experience in Supply Chain Leadership roles, including managing both operational and strategic responsibilities with direct experience in serving customers and executing physical logistics.
Business partnering, stakeholder management, and hands-on to get into the details if needed.
Strong team player with effective communication and People management skills.
Fluency in English, other European languages are a plus.
