Support the business and Swissport's Legal function in contract negotiations in respect to Swissport's liability position.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the management of the international programs within Swissport's insurance portfolio.Handling and support of Swissport's various local insurance programs including program renewals (renewal strategy, preparation of underwriting information, negotiations with placing brokers and insurance companies, implementation of renewed policies) as per insurance management policy.Management of insured claims and losses including liaising with the local entities and the respective claims handler and ensure control of their performance,Continuous monitoring of the insurance market; detect and adapt to changes and possible negative developments in respect of the terms and conditions offered by insurers.Continuously analyse Swissport's loss history and derive risk improvement measures from such analysis.Support risk assessments for projects and help identifying risk mitigation measures.Closely collaborate with Swissport's Quality, Health and Safety Function and the relevant front operations; assist in the development and implementation of loss control and loss prevention measures.Provide specific liability/indemnity/insurance related input in Swissport's contract negotiations (in collaboration with the Legal function).Qualifications and CompetenciesAt least 7 to 10 years of working experience in leading role within the insurance/risk management function of a large multinational company.Have a very good understanding of the major classes of insurance which are key for an internationally operating company.Highly advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and Access databases.In depth understanding of insurance pricing & modellingIn depth understanding of international insurance & accounting regulatory frameworkDetailed knowledge about the procurement and handling of international insurance programmes.Good understanding of liability/indemnity/insurance language in contracts and ability to participate in and support contract negotiations.Ability to work efficiently under time pressure.Excellent oral and written English skills is a must (corporate language) additional languages are an advantage.Experience in airline, ground handling or another industrial environment is a plus.Your next stepWhen you are looking for this key position as a Global Head Insurance Risk at a growing and changing international group that is headquartered in Zurich, we invite you to apply.
