The Global Services Director, ESS is responsible for managing an international multidisciplinary team. He/she is responsible for organizing and leading the global service business performance, in complete coordination with the Bid Manager and each Sales Manager (EMEA, Americas, APAC - Key Account). He/she implements effective management, reporting and methodology tools within their teams. He/she provides effective, consistent and inspiring leadership to the team to support the commercial success of the ESS entity. He/she provides continuous and clear reporting to the Director of Operations and other stakeholders (for example, the Saft Security Committee on Upgrades and Renovations, Saft's Environmental and Finance Director on Recycling Mapping and Financial Coverage, etc.).

Activities Organize and provide support relating to the Guarantee of ESS Services, including the responsibility for the profitability of the Services
Owns the ESS Services vision, strategy, and development of the evolution roadmap development
Covers the development of the offer of services and the commercial policy (range of commercial offers, margin, etc.) in the pre-sale phase, sales support (Maintenance services quote, during the bidding and tendering phase until the order, support for the execution of the project, and possibly the execution after the delivery of the project to the customer (guarantee period and beyond until dismantling and recycling)
Develops the value proposition for new ESS services and maintenance, covering new service models, AC perimeter in addition to the historic supply of Saft batteries (e.g., PCS Power Conversion System, PMS Power Management System, EMS Energy Management System, etc.).
Prepares internal and external project reviews with the client. Maintains contact with the customer
Considers maintenance constraints in product design as well as test ability and tele diagnosis themes
Management and follow-up of contractual requirements and writes the maintenance plan
Controls product maintenance costs and tracks the customer's mastery interfaces and maintenance facilities
Leads the delivery and approval of deliverable dedicated to maintenance documentation
Ensures completion of training related to the maintenance perimeter
Creates a plan to manage obsolescence
Secures the validation plan and demonstration plan related to performance requirements and commitments, and defines supply of consignment and spare parts
Perform other duties as assigned
