Description Hitachi Energy Transformers- Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a Digital Transformation Specialist who will drive strategic digital initiatives, unlock growth opportunities, and share the business unit's transformation in the area of Operational Analytics. As Digital Transformation Specialist you will lead the high-impact portfolio, bridge technology and business need, and deliver tangible results. You are accountable for developing, implementing, and executing the IT capability within that practice area to plan and build IT solutions resulting from Business of Functions. You will work in a multinational team dealing with one or more projects/programs and act as single point of contact (SPOC) towards IT Technology and the business for these transformational projects/programs. You are responsible for interaction with functional/business unit leadership to monitor and execute the projects/programs. Your Responsibilities Cultivate Digital Culture: Identify and lead strategic initiatives across the digital ecosystem. Digital Portfolio Management: Develop and manage a high-impact digital portfolio for the respective Business Unit/Function, prioritize projects, and track progress towards goals. Drive Implementation: Spearhead successful implementation, ensure timely delivery, and drive tangible business value. Translate Technology to Business Value: Simplify complex technology to clear business value and secure buy-in from business stakeholders. Execute Strategy: Implement the given strategy effectively. Guide Organizational Development: Lead strategic organizational development initiatives. Project Organization: Ensure that projects/programs are properly organized, staffed, and skilled. Define Reporting Requirements: Work with key users to define and document reporting requirements. Develop Standard Reports: Create a standard set of reports for use at different management levels within the manufacturing network. Meet Application Requirements: Collaborate with application teams to ensure reporting requirements in application deployments are met. Create Training Materials: Assist with the creation of training materials to ensure ongoing and effective use of applications and supporting tools. End-User Support: Provide end-user support to understand reporting tools and effectively utilize the report inventory. Understand Factory Challenges: Work with factory leads to understand their highest priority challenges and collaborate with central support teams to resolve reporting-related issues. Identify Enhancements: Identify potential enhancements to improve system usability and address gaps in the overall reporting framework. Your Background Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or 10 years of related work experience in Digital Transformation. 10+ years of profound experience in IT technology. 5+ years of experience in a large global corporation. 10+ years of experience in managing third-party providers on a global scale. Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams and distributed stakeholders. Experience with Manufacturing. PowerBI experience. SAP S/4HANA experience.
