The OpportunityTo lead and develop the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a cosmetic brand. To ensure that the total forecast for all the products is available on time with enough accuracy to ensure service level, optimized inventory levels, and optimal cost. To consolidate and challenge the forecast from all the markets and to detect the risk and opportunities vs the budget, ensuring the consistency between the demand plan and the business figures. To provide inputs to the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning process.
What you'll get to doFunctions and Responsibilities: To lead the Global Sales and Operation Planning Process for a new cosmetic brand, with the main responsibilities of:To coordinate the launches and promotional items global forecasting.To lead the regular goods sales forecast.To detect main deviations in the sales forecast vs the budget and to highlight risk and opportunities.To provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operation Planning Process.To lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning, by providing data regarding: service level, forecast accuracy, sales forecast vs budget, and stock management data.To lead the forecasting process and control the deviations by brand:To generate the forecast for Rest of the World according to the best base forecast and by adding the marketing intelligence.To challenge the global forecast by detecting big deviations vs last month or vs budget working closely to understand and/or closing gaps with the Local Demand Planning community.To challenge markets in order to ensure a proper global sizing and phasing of launches and promotional goods by benchmarking with the brand expectations.To ensure communication and feedback with the Local Demand Planning Community.We'd love to meet you if you haveRequirements:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas. Experience in the cosmetic industry is very valuable.
Education: Graduate in Engineering, Administration or similar, Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
Languages: Fluent English and Spanish are required.
Competencies: Drive for results, high analytical profile, holistic vision, team management and communication, organized and used to deliver on time in full.
Specific Knowledge required: high skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software. SAP, JDA, APO or similar planning tool is mandatory.
