The Cybersecurity Manager provides the backbone of support for ensuring all the activities required for product cybersecurity are carried out. It is the end aim of BorgWarner to design and manufacture fully secure components and to eliminate any cybersecurity risk for the stakeholders. In addition, he/she interfaces with Information Technology and Information security teams to ensure that Product cybersecurity is part of the global and holistic cybersecurity strategy of BorgWarner.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Designs and implements the Cybersecurity process compliant with ISO/SAE 21434:2021 requirements. Interfaces with product and functional safety and automotive SPICE requirements. Develops architecture and roadmaps for cybersecurity process, methods, and tools, for setting the cybersecurity governance. Develop and maintain cybersecurity technical template specifications in requirement tracking system to guide product engineering in cybersecurity. Ensure that cybersecurity vulnerability monitoring and incident response plans are in place for projects serial life. Defines the cross-project cybersecurity activities and provides guidance and support to all the project Cybersecurity teams. Ensure cybersecurity compliance of development teams in all sites engineering and manufacturing locations by reviewing and auditing/assessing internally and/or with customers and 3rd-party vendors. Provide cybersecurity training. Provide support to the sites to comply with Information Security standards for example: TISAX. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS KEY ATTRIBUTES Motivation to share knowledge and train people. Excellent communication skills and able to deal with all levels of the organization. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work accordingly. Comfortable in customer facing role, confident and thoughtful. Must be able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to travel at the customer or in engineering sites when necessary. EDUCATION/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor or master's degree in Ethical Hacking/Cyber Security, Computer Forensics or STEM based (science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics). A recognized security certification (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CISSM, CISA, etc.) highly desired. Experience and some knowledge in electrical systems for Automotive. Experience in SW development and/or testing. Experience with AUTOSAR components. Experience and expertise in Communication protocols for Automotive (e.g., CAN, MOST, UDS, LIN). Awareness or comprehensive experience with basic IT technologies such as operating systems, databases, etc. so they can be applied to our industry.
