We are looking for Procurement Professional for our global Blades Procurement department. You will be reporting to the Head of Outsourced Blades and will be responsible for managing and executing the strategy for the Finished Blades Commodity.
How to contribute to our vision As a Procurement Professional, you will work with strategic activities in relation to purchasing from external suppliers of Siemens Gamesa.
The major activities will include:
Provide support for the implementation of Outsourcing strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
Contribute to our Supply Chain footprint, drive cost-out initiatives.
Provide purchasing assistance to support design on cost reduction activities.
Establish lean processes together with cross-functional teams to ensure a proper implementation of key projects.
KPI management
What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing and/or supply chain and a relevant technical/commercial education. If you have experience with the Siemens Gamesa business and our way of working, it will be an advantage – just as technical knowledge and Siemens Gamesa product.
To be successful in this role you preferable:
Strong experience in process and KPI development.
Strong team-player with the ability to work independently.
Data management.
Excellent presentation skills both written and oral.
Cross functional collaboration and an open mind for new ways of working.
