This involves developing strong relationships with EPCs and establishing a network with key industry contacts. You will serve as a point of entry for actual projects and work to build a community of desalination experts to collaborate with on execution. Additionally, you aim to elevate the reputation as a leading brand in desalination by representing the company at important fairs and exhibitions. Your overall focus is to expand the prefabrication business, increase the shares of desalination projects, and overcome local barriers to ensure the company's overall success.ResponsibilitiesElevate GF's desalination business by establishing GF as a well-known and leading supplier in the desalination eco-system and scale business opportunities globally.Lead the pre-sales process by developing strong relationships with leading EPCs, contractors, and engineering companies, positioning GF as the preferred flow solutions partner in the desalination industry.Consult companies on material choice, specification possibilities, and GF's on-site manufacturing capabilities.Manage early-phase projects together with local sales companies, ensuring optimal results for GF Piping Systems.Oversee GF's product offerings in the desalination market, identify gaps, and circulate innovative solutions throughout the organization.Be responsible for the internal GF desalination network and its further development.Enable knowledge sharing, provide training, enable synergies, and act as a key contact point for desalination-related topics.Provide external communication materials, together with our internal marketing departments necessary to positively engage with customers.Minimum RequirementsA Master's degree preferably in water and environmental engineering or equivalent.A minimum of ten years experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager in the desalination market with an established network (is a must).Extensive knowledge of desalination plant and water treatment topics.Strong verbal and presentation skills including analytical and interpersonal skills.Passion to build relationships and the ability to inspire institutions, decision-makers, and stakeholders from your ideas.English and Spanish skills must be on a high professional level, other languages are an asset.Willingness to travel >50%.BenefitsClear vision and purpose: "We are a sustainability and innovation leader providing superior customer value" is our vision and this is what guides us.
